Product Description

Beautiful print thangka - this image was hand-selected in Nepal by Tulku Tadral Rinpoche and the brocade was added by traditional craftsman to his specifications.

Dorje Drolod is one of the eight manifestations of Guru Rinpoche. In this terrifying wrathful form of crazy wisdom he rides upon a pregnant tigress, and wields a vajra in his right hand and a phurba in his left. Dorje Drolod is the subject of one of H.H. Dudjom Rinpoche's four main terma cycles, and thus is practiced frequently at Pema Osel Ling. The Vajrayana Foundation also maintains the 30' Dorje Drolod stupa at Namdrol Pemay Gatsal, which is located at Pema Osel Ling.

This thangka is a beautiful addition to your home or shrine to support your Dorje Drolod practice.

Image measures 23" high by 17" wide

Overall brocade measures 52" high by 32.5" wide; wooden dowel measures 36.5"
