This exquisite phurba is 14" long with a genuine meteorite blade, and was hand-crafted by the artist collective Natsog Dorje.
Phurba stand not included.
*Please note that this phurba is slightly imperfect - the vajra top is bent slightly (see detailed photos), hence the special discount which will allow the lucky customer who purchases this phurba to have this imperfection corrected by a jeweler, if desired.
Natsog Dorje artisans use pure meteorite. Looking at these meteorite pieces, you can see the original inhomogeneous structure of the meteorite, the beauty of which is highlighted as much as possible when carving these beautiful pieces. This "heavenly pattern" cannot be reproduced on Earth, in spite of modern technology. The artisans use whole sections of iron-stony Seymchan meteorite.
Natsog Dorje is an artisan sculpture studio and foundry workshop dedicated to develop entirely authentic ritual objects and images to support the Vajrayana Secret Mantra practices. The Buddhist workshop arose from the desire to fulfill the complete requirements of the creation of these objects. They are a group of old Dharma practitioners: qualified painters, sculptors, and jewelers who for several years, with the blessings and guidance of many Tibetan teachers, have developed and created a variety of unique items.
