A lovely gold plated statue of Manjushri, the bodhisattva of wisdom, sitting 8 inches tall. He sits in meditation, holding a lotus in his left hand, upon which sits the prajnaparamita- the heart of wisdom sutra. In his right hand, a flaming sword symbolizes non-dual awareness itself. Manjushri represents the perfect wisdom of all the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas of the three times (past, present, and future). His face is painted in a beautiful gold with amazing detail. This statue is a Nepalese masterwork, a worthy vessel and support for any sincere practice. May all beings benefit!
It is said that just to see an image of a Buddha has great benefit for one's own path of awakening, for it plants a seed in one's mind stream of future spiritual accomplishment.
