A striking three inch statue of Manjushri, the Bodhisattva of wisdom. His sword vanquishes samsara's gloom with the luminescence of wisdom fire crackling upon it's sharp blade. The sword itself signifies non-dual wisdom, the sides of it's double edged blade being relative and absolute wisdom. The Perfection of Wisdom Sutra rests upon a lotus, the stem of which descends down into Manjushri's left hand. A lotus is a symbol of the primordial purity of body, speech, and mind. The base of this statue is a soft red velvet. It would make a perfect gift, as it comes in a saffron colored box with magnetic closure. A statue of a Buddha is a constant reminder of the Buddha within.
