The Gankyil looks like a triple yin-yang, and it is said to symbolize the Three Jewels of Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha. It also can represent the transformation of the three poisons (Anger, Ignorance, and Attachment) into the primordial wisdom of the Three Kayas (Dharmakaya, Sambhogakaya, and Nirmanakaya). The images are embroidered into the fabric of the patch. These are iron-on patches, which can be worn on clothes, or attached to any type of material.
