Chenrezig Thangka 38"x52"

Beautiful thangka of Chenrezig handpainted by traditional artists in the mountains of Nepal. Chenrezig, or Avalokitesvara (Sanskrit), is the guardian bodhisattva of the Mahayana. He is considered to be the essence of the compassion of all the Buddhas of the three times. He is pictured here in his four-armed form, representing the four immeasurables. His mantra of all-pervading compassion is OM MANI PADME HUNG. He is also pictured with Vajrapani, guardian bodhisattva of the Vajrayana, and Manjushri, guardian bodhisattva of the Hinayana. And floating above, is Amitabha, the source of Chenrezig's manifestation, and the representation of enlightened speech. This thangka is extremely beautiful and inspiring.

       Also, when shipping USPS International, Long-Life Arrows and thangkas (with a bottom dowel measuring 25 inches or more) will only ship priority, due to size restrictions on First Class International shipping. However, DHL Worldwide will accommodate such sizes as well.
