Khandro Norla Thangka

Khandro Norla is a manifestation of Guru Rinpoche in the form of a wealth deity (Dzambhala.) In H.H. Dudjom Rinpoche's Tsokye Thuk Thik terma cycle, he is the inner guru. Khandro Norla is a protective deity associated with prosperity, and making offerings to him is said to bring good fortune. He is found throughout many cultures with varying characteristics, but is usually yellow in color. Here he has his characteristic big belly and is holding a jewel-disgorging mongoose in his left hand.
