Khandro Norlha is a manifestation of Guru Rinpoche in the form of a wealth deity (Dzambhala.) In H.H. Dudjom Rinpoche's Tsokye Thuk Thik terma cycle, he is the inner guru. Khandro Norlha is a protective deity associated with prosperity, and making offerings to him is said to bring good fortune. He is found throughout many cultures with varying characteristics, but is usually yellow in color. Here he has his characteristic big belly and is holding a jewel-disgorging mongoose in his left hand.

This is a high quality print thangka from Nepal. Print thangkas are not hand painted. However, they are reproductions from original paintings.

       Also, when shipping USPS International, Long-Life Arrows and thangkas (with a bottom dowel measuring 25 inches or more) will only ship priority, due to size restrictions on First Class International shipping. However, DHL Worldwide will accommodate such sizes as well.
