Beautiful gold gilded statue of Manjushri measuring 3.5 inches tall.
Manjushri is the bodhisattva of wisdom. He is holding a lotus in his left hand, upon which rests the prajnaparamita- the heart of wisdom sutra. In his right hand, a flaming sword symbolizes non-dual awareness. Manjushri represents the perfect wisdom of all the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas of the three times (past, present, and future).
These Statues have been gilded through a process of electric gold plating, which deposits a thin layer of gold upon the exterior with an electro-chemical process. The end result is absolutely stunning.
