Beautiful hand-painted thangka of Manjushri, the youthful golden bodhisattva. The image depicts Manjushri raising his flaming sword, a symbol of the union of relative and absolute wisdom. His sword’s blade casts light upon all phenomena equally. In his left hand he holds a blue lotus, upon which rests the sacred text, the prajnaparamita- the heart of wisdom. This thangka was hand-painted in Nepal.
