This miniature copper Kuntuzangpo Yab Yum (Samantabhadra) statue was made in Nepal by traditional craftspeople.
Kuntuzangpo (Samantabhadra) is the "Primordial Buddha," our true nature, the state of the Ground, symbolizing Dharmakaya. According to Sogyal Rinpoche, he represents the "absolute, naked, sky-like primordial purity of the nature of our mind." He is shown seated in yab yum (union) with his consort Kuntuzangmo (Samantabhadri). They are the primary symbol of Dzogchen, the Great Perfection itself.
In Tibetan and Sanskrit, his name is "always good," or "unchanging goodness," signifying that unchanging goodness, or fundamental goodness, is our ultimate nature.
Each statue is 2.5" tall and has a removable bottom plate so the statue can be filled with mantra and relics.
