A beautiful 8 inch tall, gold plated statue of Shakyamuni Buddha, the source of Dharma in this world. Siddartha Guatama attained ultimate realization beneath the Bodhi tree in Saranath, India. From that point on, he became known as Shakyamuni Buddha. Here, he is sitting in meditation for all beings. His right hand is in the earth-touching mudra, and in his left hand is an alms bowl. This statue can be opened for consecration. A statue of a Buddha is a continuous reminder of the Buddha within us.

Extra insurance prices range from $.89 (for shipments up to $300 value) to $17 (for shipments that cost $2000). Shipping insurance only covers the item’s damage or loss while the shipping agent has possession of the item, i.e. pick up, transit, and delivery. Once the item has been delivered to the residence, damage and loss are not covered.
