This fine quality copper statue of wrathful heruka Vajrakilaya in yab yum, who embodies the enlightened activity of all the Buddhas, was made in Nepal by traditional crafts people. The statue is partially gilded, with four hand-painted golden faces. The finely-cast skulls in the crown are detailed with turquoise colored stones. He has three faces and six arms, and his consort has one face and two arms. The statue is cast in three pieces: the base, the deities, and the finely painted wreath of flames which borders the deities in union. Vajrakilaya is known especially for the power to remove obstacles.
This statue will be an exquisite addition to your shrine and valuable support for your practice.
Statue weighs 3 lbs 8 oz and measures 8.75" tall x 6.5" wide x 3" deep.
Please note:
Items over $200 need to have extra insurance as USPS and Shopify only automatically insure shipments up to $200. Extra insurance prices range from $.89 (for shipments up to $300 value) to $17 (for shipments that cost $2000). If you purchase an item that is over $200, you will receive an invoice for a shipping insurance fee. Again, these fees are generally very small- usually a dollar or two at most. In these situations, you can still change or cancel you order at that point if you would like to. We are always willing to help, however you need.
Shipping insurance only covers the item’s damage or loss while the shipping agent has possession of the item, i.e. pick up, transit, and delivery. Once the item has been delivered to the residence, damage and loss are not covered. If you feel that your residence is unsafe for porch delivery, please make a note at checkout or email us, and we can request a signature upon delivery. There will be a $3.70 charge from USPS for that service. Thank you for your understanding, and for supporting the Dharma.
